Kazakhstan teams have always performed with excellence at the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO).
The Zhautykov Olympiad plays a very important role in training students for the IMO and encouraging high achievement in Mathematics and Physics.

I am very happy that Zhautykov Olympiad is developing so fast. Surely it’s not easy to organize such an Olympiad, because there are two subjects; the Queen of all sciences - Mathematics, the Queen of all natural sciences- Physics.
It is more difficult to organize an Olympiad in two subjects. I am very glad that everything was at such a high level, both in scientific tasks and organization.
I wish all the best to all the contestants and organizers and hope to meet you in a year, during the forth Zhautykov Olympiad. I wish great success and good luck to everyone.

Your country will accept the international mathematical Olympiad in 2010. It testifies that Kazakhstan conducts very dynamical policy in the field of education and sciences and education of young generation. It is my first arrival in your young, but already known country in the international community …
If earlier Kazakhstan was only geographical point on a map of the world for me, thanks to the Zhautykov Olympiad, I have an opportunity to get acquainted with it now. I worked in the South Africa, China, visited many countries and was always convinced that the Olympiad - a fine opportunity for acquaintance with other countries.
